Welcome to Lowco Events! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Lowco Events (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a Charleston, South Carolina–based event planning company that provides virtual event planning services for in-person events.

2. Our Services

We provide event planning services such as research, vendor communication, scheduling, and creative event design. Events are planned virtually; we do not own or operate venues or provide vendor services directly.

3. Bookings & Payments

  • A signed agreement and deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
     
  • Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement or invoice.
     
  • For percentage-based packages, the final fee will be calculated based on your total event cost.
     
  • All fees are non-refundable once planning work has begun, unless otherwise stated in your service agreement.
     

4. Client Responsibilities

To help us plan your event successfully, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and timely information about your event.
     
  • Respond promptly to communications and approvals.
     
  • Notify us of any changes to your event details as soon as possible.
     

5. Vendor Relationships

We coordinate with vendors on your behalf but do not guarantee vendor performance or availability. Vendor contracts will be between you and the vendor, and you are responsible for reviewing and approving all terms.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your event, please notify us in writing.
     
  • Fees for work already completed are non-refundable.
     
  • Additional fees may apply for rescheduling.
     

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Cancellations, delays, or issues caused by vendors, venues, or other third parties.
     
  • Any loss, damage, or injury occurring at your event.
    Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our planning services.
     

8. Intellectual Property

All materials we create for your event (vision boards, designs, lists) are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced or resold without our permission.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new “Effective Date.”

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Return and Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 1st, 2025

At Lowco Events, we value your trust and strive to deliver an excellent planning experience. This Return & Refund Policy outlines when and how refunds are issued for our services and products.

1. Event Planning Services

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: Any deposit paid to secure your booking is non-refundable.
     
  • Work in Progress: Once planning work has begun, fees for completed work are non-refundable.
     
  • Full Service Packages: For percentage-based packages (Partial & Full), the final fee will be calculated on your total event cost. Refunds are not issued once services have been rendered or vendors have been booked.
     
  • Client Cancellations: If you cancel your event after work has started, you will be responsible for payment for all completed work up to the cancellation date.
     

2. Physical Products (Shop Items)

  • Items from our shop may be eligible for return or exchange if:
     
    • The item is unused, in its original packaging, and returned within 14 days of delivery.
       
    • Proof of purchase is provided.
       
  • Non-Returnable Items: Customized or personalized items cannot be returned or refunded unless defective.
     

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
     
  • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.
